He looked after my mother's estate after she died as I was the executor. Later Joan & I consulted with John on our investments and he became our main guru in these matters. Dear Patty and Family. It is truly with heavy hearts that we learned of John's passing. Mixed emotions. We prayed strongly for his healing but in the end result he received his ultimate healing by graduating into the Presence of our Lord. He has a new body. Out of pain and suffering. John was a valiant fighter. Never gave up. Through it all he wanted to be with his Family, his beloved Patty and yes, the view of his beautiful Kennebecasis River. Yes, John handled our Investments for years thru Investors. With John you felt safe and secure. John was honest; dedicated; hard working and was a true Gentleman with a stellar character. He was a winner with his Family; his Friends; and all who had the privilege that came in contact with him. He had a great code of ethics when it came to work. It was always a privilege to have him come to our home and sit at our Kitchen table. Always had those sparkling eyes and bright smile. Made one feel at ease. We have lost our "Commodore" Patty for our great Yacht Club in the corner of Meehan's Cove. Will never be the same. You have wonderful moments to cherish of your times there just floating and enjoying your BBQ. It only took the simple things in life to make John happy and in that was mostly his Family, his Grandchildren playing off your Beach. What a Heritage they have been left with. We truly wish we could be there for John's Home Going Celebration but we are still here in Florida and have certain business to take care of before we commence home on January 4th. The Bible says "to be absent from the Body, is to be present with the Lord". That is our hope. That we cling to. Our lives have been made richer by knowing John. Know that our sincere thoughts and prayers are with each of you at this very difficult time. We do not walk alone. You are loved. We are only a phone call away. We will be in touch. Blessings to All, In His Grip, Norman and Barbara

How your hearts must be experiencing such diverse emotions this Week! Your hearts must be filled with sadness and longing for what was and at the same time just swelling with so much love and pride for the man you were lucky enough to call your husband or Dad or Grandfather and for that matter any other family connection one may think of. When I think of John Fullerton, the man, I remember a fun community minded individual back in the days when we were all raising families in our beloved Gondola Point. I also remember him as the Father of two of the kids I was fortunate enough to have taught. The many kind words that have been written here may bring you some peace in the coming difficult days. May you find the strength you will need in your love for each other just as John would have wanted. Thinking of each of you with heartfelt sympathy. Love Shirley
